1. Move into public housing
Unlike Section 8, the Low Income Housing Program participants will not receive a voucher. Instead, they move into an offered unit approved by the housing authority.

2. Check household income
Every 2 years, the authority would check if the gross income of the household is less than 120% of the AMI. When the tenants fail to meet the income requirements, they should pay for the amount received from HUD for this unit.
